Noble continues expansion of its Equities business
Noble, the research-led independent investment bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Evans as Head of Research
Scott brings extensive experience of the small-mid cap market to Noble, with invaluable expertise in both research and sales. His experience has been forged predominantly at ABN Amro, which he first joined over ten years ago becoming Head of Pan European Smaller Companies, before moving to Merrill Lynch in 1999 initially in the small cap research team (Extel rated in the top 3) and later in Pan European small-mid cap sales. In 2003, Scott returned to ABN Amro, to be appointed Head of Equity Sales for all European and International Products. Previously Scott's career was in the world of academia, with stints at the Institute for Fiscal Studies and as Tutor and Lecturer in Economics at Oriel College, Oxford.
This high calibre appointment follows the recent strengthening of Noble's equities business and corporate broking division on the back of selective senior hires over the past year, with most recently the appointment of Mileen Rash to the Equity Sales Team, and Peter Tracey and John Millar joining from Merrill Lynch as co-Heads of Corporate Broking and ECM. Noble recently expanded its coverage of the mid and small-cap market with the addition of Real Estate and Retail sectors.
